Updating for a quick minute or two. Bible School was a huge blessing! My own faith has been strenthened while studying the attributes of God. He is soverign, the highest ruler over all, God is Holy, pure and without any sin, God is Omniscient, all knowing, Omnipresent, Omnipotent, all powerful, and God is Truth. I think my favorite verse of the week, is this one; II Chronicles 16:9a..."For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect (or right) toward him." The lessons were packed with truths and the skits were deliciously funny. I don't know when I've laughed so hard at so much. The kids got to be in the skits each night at the close of the evening if they got a total of 400 points for memorizing verses. At 25 points for each new verse and 75 points added if they brought a visitor, believe me, there was some real concentration taking place, it is downright amazing what children can memorize and how quickly. Love it =), its a challenge to me now to memorize the same verses. In conclusion, it was one of the best weeks of the year! It was also great getting to know the kids better and meeting new children too. Its nice that we can 'be there' for each other, its Gods plan!
