Sunday's post early. Look what is blooming. A very neglected African violet, whose thirst I often forget to quench. It's dirt is scrunched up and shrunken, yet it faithfully hangs on and even rewards me. What a picture of God's grace to undeserving me. He is the one who hangs on to me and never lets me go, no matter how spiritially 'dry' I become when I am too 'busy' for my God. Then I become the great loser and am so very ernestly thankful for the Holy Spirits still, quiet, but powerful voice to me. "Out of my bondage, sorrow, and sin, Jesus, I come, Jesus, I come". That has been me recently, to busy to sink into the arms of my Saviour, and be nourished and watered by His Living Word. Thankyou Jesus, for forgiving my backsliding. So subtle, yet so corrosive, is sin.........I John 1:9 " If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Posted by Hello

i always have trouble juggling too many things at the same time ... especially with being back at work and the summer chores looming ... when i start to read the word, i get sleepy and don't get out of it what i should ... sigh ... good reminder, Maggie Ann, that it is soooo easy to slide ... thankfully the Lord catches us before we really fall ...
