How about a virtual tour of Thomas Jefferson's home of 5 thousand acres in Ablemarle County Va.? I found this site this morning and am really impressed with it. We visited here about 5 years ago and really enjoyed it. It's amazing to step back in time (so to speak). This photo is from 'Webshots'. In browsing the web, I came across a really great article here.......www.seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/traveloutdoors. I got a little ahead of myself here ....the virtual tour is here.....explorer.monticello.org/index.html ......The newspaper article has so many interesting facts about Jefferson. He is quoted as saying "the failure of one thing is repaired by the success of another". I am sure I can post this and you can see it but for the time being I cannot access my blog at all, only through 'Hello' from which I post pictures. Frustrating to say the least. This happened to my blog once before and it just reappeared by itself apparently a couple of days later. My daughter tells me she can access it, but all I see is a page of wallpaper, nothing else. I miss it!  Posted by Hello

well i hope you can access your absolutely encouraging, lovely, blog soon ...

i love the tours you give us, the flower pics you take ... i always rest abit when i come visit you ... it seems that with my work beginning and also the home chores, i am getting a little wound up these days ... plus i don't have the time to be as reflective when i blog ...

at the moment i am making some chili for supper and i must go put my homemade sweet buns in the oven(it is an actual a better crocker recipe!) ... then grate some cheese, so we can sprinkle on top of the chili ...

the leftovers will be good tomorrow, coming home from work in what is forecast to be a very wet cool day ...

but the Lord is in every day, isn't He? wet, wound-up, or wonderful! :o)
