Yesterday, the scene was definately a change from the snowstorm of last week. The daffodils are bursting open and the air was wonderfully warm. It was like stepping into summer. At church we heard from our Missionaries, the Meltons. They are on deputation, headed to Japan. We heard some thought-provoking facts. Like, Japan has one half the population of the U.S. and is crowded into a size 1/25th the size of the U.S. It would be like squeezing it into 1/3 of California. Since 70% of Japan is mountainous, most people live in the coastlines. Our missionaries are friends of long standing. Very special. Very focused on sharing the word and love of God with others.....One thought that stood out for me was that Christ did not come because we were good, but that we were so bad it took the blood of the Son of God to redeem us. You know how you can know something, really, but you just let it go over the top of your head. Thinking about it is, wow, I'm agreeing with God about this. Totally. Romans 5:8...".But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.".........1John l:9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."  Posted by Hello

Thanks for the photo of the daffodils - we're getting more spring-like all the time, but it's still April in Michigan and two years ago we were in the middle of an ice-storm that took out power for close to a week.

I received your email on tatting, but with the {no reply} thing from Blogger, it's hard to answer other than coming here and leaving a comment. My email is janedevlin @ ameritech . net (remove the spaces)
