Devotions

My Bible time was very profitable today. I used my notes from a recent Wed.night prayer meeting devotional given by our Pastor. I read these two verses from the book of Ecclesiates 5:2, and verse 6. "Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few."......verse 6..., "Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither say thou before the angel, that it was an error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thine hands?........in short, use wise words, when upset...remain quiet...Ephesians 4:22...."that ye put off concerning the former conversation (what we were before we were saved, and the new is the new life we have in Christ, Gal.2:20)....the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness." It's a great thing to have a God who gives the instruction manual for everyday living in His Word, the Bible. I appreciate !!!
