This book is a gem. The first two chapters ...were slow for me to get with. But...after that ...wow, I loved it. The novel is based on the true story (although this is a work of fiction based on the true story) of two twin sisters born in Scotland around 1843. They traveled the world and really did discover a copy of the Gospels from AD 500. I borrowed it from my library, now someone else is enjoying it I'm sure. Thank you Lynn Austin!

I am so looking forward to reading this ... i bought it last month, and once i finish reading it, i will donate it to our local library ... i think i have read most of Lynn Austin's books ... she is an excellent writer ...
and the picture on my blog, i took the other day ... i have a beautiful handmade quilt on my bed (which i won from our local library) and the square i used in the picture is one of the designs, i just put a poppy on it ... i liked the way it turned out ... :)
blessings on you dear sister ...
