I had a book by Miss Read that was a duplicate and was about to give it away when I happened to notice this quaint bookplate. Oh so charming and cozy looking. Of course, anything 'cat' gets my attention quickly. And, only a devoted cat would sit and keep you company while you read....or so I think. I guess a loving dog would too.

I love that bookplate. I have printed a few out to put inside the books I'm making. This one would be perfect. A friend of mine wrote the neatest post about something I thought would interest you. How lovely and she has toast too! I remember toasting bread on the open range when I was young. It tasted much better than it does now, maybe the bread did too!
