Crocheted Walnut Throw....

How do you like this 'walnut' pattern?  Every time I ran across it while looking through old 'Workbasket' magazines....I had the recurring urge to give it a try.  And so here it is and I like it more than ever. The pattern calls for two long strips this wide and a larger panel of olive green in the center of them.  Part of me wants to start over and just make the whole thing with this yarn and then I'd have no joining.  What do you think?

Sorry I haven't posted for so long.  I am having trouble with my back and supposed to get an MRI but scheduling doesn't call and I wonder really what they can do anyway besides PT.  Something 'clunks' and 'clicks' in and out at the bottom of my back. yes, really, it does.

We are having a sunny day with bare roads here in our part of Pa.  Love the sunshine so much. Yesterday was so dreary and overcast.  I  hope your day is a sweet one.  Some are like that you know.

'Thou art my portion, O LORD'  Psalm 119:57a

I've done my share of starting over! And I do love these beautiful colors. I hope you figure out what's wrong with your back. Take care of yourself...and take it easy! Hugs!

Hope you get your MRI soon & you're on the way to resolving your back problem.

love the colour and pattern ... i have so many lovely things my mom has made for me over the years ... i have never been a knitter (i do know how, but at this time it has never been a hobby) - but i absolutely adore the out come of others work!

so very sad to hear of your back problems ... as you know, we battle that on a daily basis (for over 33 years) ... :( ... hoping that God touches your pain and gives you relief ... ((hugs))

The best part about knitting and crocheting is that you can frog that piece and start brand new if you change your mind ... nothing wasted! Your yarn is a beautiful colour mix, and I'm sure the throw will look good whichever way you decide to work it up. Thanks for visiting over at mine :)

So very sorry about your pain. This is such a pretty throw. I never learned to knit or crochet. I do enjoy reading and always love the books you review here.
God bless.
