There is nothing in this world that gives peace like trusting in the LORD.  I will eternally be grateful that  in 1977 an evangelist came to our church and I repented of my sins, turned from what I 'thought' and accepted God's word for the truth it is...and...accepted the Son of God..... Jesus, as my own Saviour. No one can do that for you but you. =)  'whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved'. Romans chapter 10, verse 13.  How I love this chapter of God's word!  It led me to Christ.

Going on the 2nd week now...I'm captive to a head-cold which I really hope each day will be the last of it!  The flowers are so gorgeous but I spend all of the day indoors, because of allergies and bug bites etc.  I love my coleus and bright light cosmos and deep red cosmos.  I'll try to post a picture of that.  My head cold has robbed me of any energy but I sure can read.....and love that.

I am enjoying Susan Whitig Albert's  'Cottage Tales' very much right now. And also....a Penny Parker mystery 'The Wishing Well' on my Kindle. And carried over from my Sunday reading....The Missionary story....of Nate Saint.  'On a Wing and a Prayer'.  Nate is a Missionary pilot  in the jungles of Ecuador, in the 1950's  I think.  It's a good thing to have 'balance' in my reading.  I strive for that...at least I'm beginning too.

What a wonderful testimony! I too have had little energy and have been reading a lot! I have so many things I need to "get to!" Hope you start feeling better.
