Doing Well...

My grandson bought me this yummy tea when he went on a field trip to Williamsburg.  It smells heavenly with bergamot in it. I already had this nice teapot with the strainer built right in for loose tea.  I put the little johnny-jump-up in a salt cellar,  a pretty little gift from God.

Thanks so much to everyone who prayed for my husband and his colon surgery.  It is a week and a half now and things are going well for him.  They removed part of his colon and reconnected it successfully.  All lymph nodes are cancer free and we are so very thankful.  'Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me.'  Psalms 66:20

I just had to enlarge this picture....the sunshiny glory of daffodils are so cheering.  I am tired but glad to be home again and my husband is the best patient!  He is on a limited diet and I know that is hard for him.  I enjoyed the start of 'Call the Midwives' last week, and hope to enjoy tomorrow's show too.  There are some things on it I wouldn't endorse...but ever so much I enjoy!  I found it interesting that the newcomer on the show....played in Larkrise to Candleford....and she is a wonderful character actress.  How nice!

This is good news and I know you will take good care of him to speed his recovery. I'm keeping him in my prayers. Take care of yourself, too my friend. I wish we had started watching Midwifes at the beginning. Sweet hugs, Diane
