Home is the best place in the world to relax.  The small chair pictured above belonged to my Grandmother long ago.  My Mom said NO one sat in her Mums chair!  Mom tells the story that one time when her Mother had gone somewhere,  the girls, all 4 of them...decided to bake biscuits.  Their Mother came  home unexpectedly and  when they realized she was coming...chucked the biscuits into a laundry hamper.  They still got what for.....I miss those stories she used to tell.  I miss her too.

I've been using little quilts on the coffee table and love them.  The mismatched socks were bought that way...for fun!  The pocket purse was made by a weaver in SC.  And,   I love miniature twig chairs.  Appreciation is a good thing,  even though the day comes when some things must find new homes.  Not yet!

I'd make every picture extra large if I wasn't afraid blogger would cut me off =(.  I don't like it to overlap the scripture portion though.  Here is the little tea set with translucent 'eyes' you can see light through when you lift the tiny cup to drink.  I keep it busy lately with sweet tea.

I broke this little guys' sweetheart.  The glue didn't hold her together so she is just laying around lately.  Isn't the red Fiesta ware bowl a pretty red!  And I'm loving their new color 'Poppy'.  (new to me...)  Colors are so beautiful everywhere they are.

 Wishing you a blessed Sunday!

'The spacious firmament on high,   with all the blue ethereal sky,   And spangled heavens, a shining frame,

Their great Original proclaim.   The unwearied sun, from day to day,   Does his Creator's power display,

And publishes to every land....The work  of an Almighty hand.'       Joseph Addison 1672-1719

Maggie Ann, just a word on picture sizes. I do like the larger pictures and have used them in my blog for years. I've never gotten 'cut' off by blogger but if I did, I'd just start a new blog and bring my friends with me.

Lovely post! My son and his wife sold those socks in their free trade shop. Someone came and bought them all. The price was right! I think they are charming.
