Come along and browse the antique shop with me!  It is full of fun memorabilia and books galore.  My latest find  here has been vintage Fiesta ware.  Lovely colors with squared off corners.  Hubby got me a set we sometimes use for a breakfast set.

Do you see that sign?  $250. for a set of chairs.  They are charming and in good shape but a girl would have to save up a while for these.  Too rich for me...lol.   Years ago I read of someone saying she loved to buy second-hand and at thrift stores.  That way....when she wanted to change anything she had no qualms about it.

I was tickled to find this!  I'd heard of Red Ryder but this is a first for me.  He looks like a hero, doesn't he?

Old tins that thankfully somebody saved.  They are so interesting. The band-aid can hasn't changed too much, has it.

Just look at this happy pig.  Cute! And the high chair with the metal insert tray is a great idea.  I guess plastic is just as good.  Maybe.   Everything seems to be replaced with something supposedly better.  You know....new and improved?  And when we find a product we really like we want it to stay just as it is, but it rarely does.

Over at Amazon's free ebooks,  they are giving away 'The Measure of Katie Calloway' by Serena Miller.   I really....really enjoyed reading it and if it is still a give-a-way.....I hope you get it.  Wishing you a blessed week-end!

'I have called upon thee, for thou wilt hear me, O God: incline thine ear unto me, and hear my speech.' Psalm 17:6         verse7. 'Shew thy marvellous loving-kindness, O thou that savest by thy right hand them which put their trust in thee from those that rise up against them.'

Red Ryder...how cool! I would have had to have bought that! Before our grandson was born we bought Red Ryder b-b guns, one for our daughter and one for us, because of Christmas Story! :-) That looks like a great antique shop!
