Our daughter and her family have come and gone now, and we had such a good time together. We took part in a community yard sale, what a lot of work! I really don't think I'd be for doing that again, even though I did very little in comparison to hubby and daughter.
I just read a good book and have just been relaxing. We cleaned and washed windows for our company and all that goes with a 'company coming' visit. Now its time to just rest and read. And I sort of want to get back to my sock knitting. I look forward to our weekly knitting group and I've learned so much about knitting socks in the last few months. I sent the grandsons home with a pair of hand-knit socks each. A big accomplishment..lol.

Hello Maggie Ann... and thank you so much for your visit to my blog... I wish I knew how to knit... my mama knitted the most fabulous things for all of us when I was growing up... she is in Heaven now and I miss her... I inherited her knitting needles, old wooden ones which I treasure... one day perhaps I will take a class... wishing you the rest of a beautiful weekend, xoxo Julie Marie
I bet you miss them.
Isn't it lovely to just relax, especially with a good book :) Have a beautiful week.
Love and Hugs!
Aren't yard sales the hardest work? I always think I want to have one and then I wonder why I did. Crazy.
Glad you enjoyed your company! I know what you mean about wanting to get back to the knitting, though for me it's always a dozen things I never seem to have time for! I don't knit as you know, but embroider and want to start crocheting again...plus the list is a mile long! :-) I keep having blogging breaks, though this last one was excused (cataract surgery) I can't always say I do have a good excuse. Then I miss my dear friends like you! Hope all is well.
