I am so glad for the cooler weather.  The heat just robs me of energy, and now I am coming back to life, retiring the couch potato....I hope.  I wanted to make some more small stained glass pieces to be able to rotate duty for the kitchen window.  Hopefully I'll break out the 'stuff' and do a few pieces.  Perhaps!  Mother used to say,  'If wishes were horses, beggers would ride'.

We got news tonight a dear friend has passed from this world to glory.  She was a faithful Christian whose life was a steadfast witness for the Lord and all things heavenly.  We will miss her greatly, but are glad she is experiencing the joy of being with her God and her Saviour Jesus Christ.

So...cooler weather, hm? Our last three days were 107-108, and now it's back to 104! I know a lot of places are having their wrap up of summer, though, and I'm glad for them. I will be happy when we start seeing 90-100 again in a couple of weeks! My poor garden is suffering, for one thing, though we have been getting some of our usual summer rain. Still, the heat is a stress on everything out there. Hope you get back to your stained glass again! Your work is beautiful!

Wanted to also say how sorry I am you lost your friend, but glad she is with the Lord. My husband's Dad died this past week and the memorial service is Friday. Russell went to FL to be with his sister after their Dad had a stroke a month and a half ago, then he went to Va right before his Dad died, and is heading back to FL in a couple of days. I will be glad when he's home again. Hated we couldn't be with him for the Memorial service too.

I have not been around here for a while. Hope you are well. I love stained glass, but I made one project and stopped. I like working with fabric better than glass.
