Houseplant Monday!   Here is my shamrock and I've put it outside since this picture was taken and I hope it is still alive.  I forget things so easily.

Now this I call 'Purple Heart' because when I bought it that is the name that the church ladies had on the popsicle stick for 'ID'.  I have always loved houseplants, but since my African Violets became invested with something 'whiteish'..and it spread like crazy to all of them,  I don't have very many to keep now.

We went to Half Price Books Saturday night, after a stop at 'Oodles of Noodles' for a supper treat from our Son.  Then to Frogurt?   yogurt store, and yum.....I loved it. Soft-serve yogurt topped with fresh fruit.  Then you put your dish on the scale and pay by the pound.  10 stars!

At Half Price Books I picked up 7 books.  Two on spinning and 5 knitting books.  What a happy night that was. Most of the books were only $1 & $ 2.  What a blessing. I am knitting away on socks still, but it is enjoyable and I'm thankful to be able to learn how!

One of my favorite scriptures...' Know ye that the LORD he is God; it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people and the sheep of his pasture.'  Psalms 100:3

I am so thankful to be on my way to heaven...saved for all eternity.  It only took me a few seconds to type that and those words are true....but how many seconds...minutes and hours have I spent today on 'stuff'.  While God waits for me to acknowledge him and his wonderful goodness to me.  We have such a wonderful God...so loving and true and constant.

In Psalms David says "Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments." And how many hours a day do we spend on earthly things. I am so awful about that, not walking prayer and praise but moving about my day busily and devoting myself to other pursuits! Yet my heart is full when I acknowledge all that He has done!
