My husband and I both have a virus...and we are wishing for a quick recovery from these scratchy throats and fatigue. Meanwhile.... I had read in 'Cooks Illustrated' about putting loose herbs in a coffee filter and tying it with string to put in soups and such.  So,  I tried this with loose tea and it works beautifully.  Just tie off and drop in your teacup for tea without any loose tea leaves escaping.  Very satisfactory.  I have forgotten to enlarge the font size.  Perhaps your pc has a key to make the print bigger.  I wish it was only necessary to tell  my pc one time to enlarge the font and it would automatically do that every time....sigh. Not so.

Isn't this mantle beautiful?  It is part of the decor in a favorite thrift shop.  Oooh,  that gingerbread woodwork is delightful!

While shopping I came across this cheery lemon plate...but don't you just hate it when they put the store sticker over the middle back where it tells if it is dishwasher safe and so on?  I do.

This is what I am knitting right now, a Reader's Wrap.  I've had this pattern for a long time, but now is its turn to share my days and evenings. Finally! The wool is Borderleister, and comes from my spinning ...in the original coloring of the sheep's wool. I'm loving the subtle color variations.  This reminds me of variations in my own life, that shouldn't be there, so often.... in spite of the temporary enjoyment they give.  Too many of them rob me of fellowship with my God.  Of growing spiritually.   Of being a witness....

'For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me; for he wrote of me.' John 5:46   That secret place inside of us,  where we think and feel....needs to believe on and receive Jesus....each one of us were created to be His...to worship and joy in God.  And when his child....draw close through prayer and Bible study.  How often the Holy Scripture is  neglected in my life.  And yet how constantly the Holy Spirit uses the Word of God  to refresh me and draws me past these 'things' of earth.   I am so blessed by His grace.  If you have never read my testimony and would like too....it is the very last thing at the end of my blog.  And up near the top of my blog...'Are you a good person'?  explains how to be positive you will go to heaven and not hell.

'But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name; Which were born, not of blood, for of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.' John 1:12 & 13

Maggie, the picture of those yellow flowers and that cute little plate just cheered me up and I really was in need of some cheer. Thank you and hugs.

Hello Maggie,

How good of you to share words of encouragement and salvation !

I think that you can change your text size once and be done, as you've wished.

On my blog, I go to 'design', and then to 'template'. From there, you click on 'customize', and then from the choices there, you click 'advanced'. When you see the words, 'page text', you've found the mother lode ! Just choose a size and watch it change on the screen below. Hit 'apply to blog' in the upper right and you're golden. I personally can never get out of there without making ALL KINDS of changes, so I wish you quick success !
