While the snow has been busy outside,  I have been enjoying it in passing but hurrying inside to be near the wood burner and its cozy heat.   The world is full of beauty, in spite of all the horrible, sad things.

I am fascinated by this strand of LED lighted stars from Ikea.  They had them clipped to one of their $5.  laundry hangers to make a mini-chandelier.  So,  I bought the same thing and came home to hang mine...isn't it pretty?  The best part is that the lights change colors so subtly you catch your breath in amazement sometimes.  All going in different colors at different times.  I SO am enjoying these.   Even though the lights were $20.  it was Worth it!!!

And I must mention this...my background on my blog is my own picture.   Thanks Blogger!!!!!

well, that is just the most clever thing... such color here in this drab winter atmosphere. I will be so glad to see spring!! Remind me not to complain when it gets hot again.

The lights make a neat, almost abstract photo! Love the snow on your railing! Life truly is beautiful, in spite of all the ugliness. Love, and peacefulness and unbelievably beautiful things like flowers are indeed God's gift to us, to make this life bearable.
