My blog has been neglected while I decorate and get ready for Christmas.  While at the flea market here....just a small one but it often yields little treasures like this vintage lamp.  Is the lampshade made of what they call celluloid? or something like that? ($8.00, by the way) The base surprised hubby with a small night light bulb in it, but which complicated the re-wiring.  I am waiting for it to come home from a friend who promised to re-wire it.

The cord is so frayed the whole outer fabric is .....kaput...gone!

Aren't snowmen cute!  My Mom and I made these some years back.  A happy memory....

At a recent fundraiser for our library,  my husband spotted these 'Happy Hollisters' for sale.   I was excited!  Our grandsons will enjoy these and they are hard to find.

Another trip back to the fill a bag for $10.00 and we came home with a bag of mostly 'Bobbsey Twin' books.  Gratitude fills my heart.  And of course I am reading one.  =) 'The Bobbsey Twins in the Mystery Cave' and it is very interesting....good wholesome reading.  And I downloaded my library's online 'overdrive'  and am listening to a audio book by a historian about Abigail Adams, wife of the 2nd President of the United States.  Very nice...wish I'd starting using their free downloading service sooner!

I know everyone is busy getting ready for Christmas...warmest wishes for a 'Merry Christmas'!   Hallelujah, What a Saviour!!!

Thank you for the Birthday wishes!
I enjoy your blog so much.
I will be taking a Christmas break from blogging starting this weekend. I need time for other things and family...so a little time off.
Thank you for the support.
