We recently celebrated our grandson's 4th birthday.  Carnival style!  His Mom did a fantastic job putting it all together.  There were games galore, horse rides, wish you could  have seen those kids faces while on this horse.  They loved! it.

There was a 'bounce house' that was a super hit too.  I helped make a few of these balloon dogs pictured here.  Believe me, it took a lot of intense concentration and courage to keep twisting these puppies round and round ...knowing they could 'pop' any second!

Cupcakes are always popular.  When our grandson opened his gifts, he was so surrounded by his little friends helping him,  we barely got a glance at him.  It was so cute.   I'm not easy with posting children's pictures online though....so....you'll have to imagine how cute they all were, ok.

We were at a huge flea market and brought home these beauties for a dollar a pot....to help make our carnival bright and cheery.

Poor doggie,  she was a good sport, but you can tell,  it was a pain in the neck for her to join in the fun. Our daughter had clown noses and hair, and clown hats galore for the children to get their pictures taken in towards the last.  She will send each child his or her picture as a thank you!  Good idea and so much fun.

I have been sick with a virus for over a week now...and feeling pretty much a zero.  I watched 'Sarah, Plain & Tall' all three of the movies (which I loved)..... and countless b&w cowboy movies with hubby.  That part of being sick is nice!

John 5:24...verily, verily, I say unto you....He that heareth my voice and believeth on  Him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.   What a comfort!!!!    Hope your Sunday is restful and blessed.
