I used to make a collage a week...and I'd really like to get back to that.  Art is so satisfying. I love using these chalks. They lend such a soft color...like sunshine.

I was so excited to get this at a yard sale...until I found that the pens and nibs just don't work anymore.  Calligraphy is so elegant. I always had a desire to practise this...but then I'm interested in so many things...lol.

My stamp collection...fills one whole shelf and I must admit...the more stamps one has, the harder it is to remember 'what' you have and how to lay hold of it.  Still, there is a certain wonderfulness in being able to make a card yourself, using your stamps.  It adds a special touch most definitely.

A Birthday collage.  Any scrap of paper can be added into the mix.  Sometimes I am so pleased with the results, sometimes not.  But not knowing how the collage will turn out is part of the artist's delight.  Perhaps.

'Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is  no variableness, neither shadow of turning.'  James 1:17

It's a lovely card, Maggie Ann. I love to paint. I can understand your love for the chalks and stamps! It's so satisfying to create something lovely that someone else will appreciate.
