An urgent insight to life after death.

This devotional link to Spurgeon's daily devotion is timely. We don't know when we will be taken by death, but we are surely guided and warned ahead of time in the scriptures that now is the time to take heed. The account of Lazarus and the rich man in the book of Luke 16:19 to verse 31 will be our story as well.. We will either end up in glory in the presence of God or in hell, never having repented of our sins and called on Jesus in prayer, asking for his mercy and salvation. Jesus Christ is our redeemer, the one who took all of our punishment on the cruel cross.

And God tells us in his sacred scripture...'that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Romans chapter 10, verse 9. If you are visiting here just now and know Christ as your Saviour and have a personal fellowship with him, please take a few seconds and pray for those passing by who do not know him. If you are one who wants to have your sins forgiven by Jesus, click on the 'Are you a good person' in the sidebar and read it through. And if you will, please leave me a comment here so that I may pray for you.

Thank you for taking a moment or two to read this post. God bless you.

I have been composing a letter to my aunt Stella, concerning salvation. She is 86 years old a Catholic. I am using the card my mom had in her Bible as a starting place and including Scripture from The Romans Road. I am praying God will prepare her heart to understand and respond to His calling. My dad was Aunt Stella's brother and became a believer just three weeks before his death. My mom became a believer about a year before my dad.

My heart is burdened for so many in our family.

This is a wonderful post!
