There is nothing like staying at home for real comfort. ~Jane Austen
I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works. I will be glad and rejoice in thee...Psalm 9:verses 1 and 2a

Is there any place on earth as sweet and restful as 'home'? No matter what our house looks like, we have within us the yearning to make it special. I remember reading once a comment by a lady, who called her home her dollhouse. Really, it is I think. Each little room as cozy or messy as we make it. And, like us, it goes through the day, clean and pretty, then messy, then we work away at it and are richly rewarded by our efforts. (I got caught up on the ironing today..=) I love home sweet home! Bet you do too!

I did have a house when we lived in Texas that was a doll house to me. We sold it and built a new house and wish many of times we still lived there. I did love my new house too.
I agree with you completely!
Then I shall bring my ironing over to you. LOL! I remember a lady once said she didn't wear anything she couldn't pull outta her drier and put on without having to iron it. She may have a point.
My husband and I sometimes remark after having a day out together, that it's nice to go out but it's just as nice to come home. I thank God this Thanksgiving season for a safe and wonderful home. He is the source of that blessing.
Wishing you Thanksgiving blessing.
