I looked and looked for a 'pick' of silk fall flowers for the dining room table, and could not find anything in the price range I wanted. So after a trip to a huge flea market and auction, we came home with these adorable mini-pumpkins. What better for a fall decoration? color me happy, once again.

"I will bless the LORD at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth." Psalms 34, verse 1.

They look lovely. Not sure I've seen any as small as that here. I'll have a look.

Was it Bramwell that you were watching on You Tube? It's the only medical series set in the Victorian era that I can remember with a woman as the lead. I remember Jemma Redgrave in that one, she was very good. If you haven't come across Anne Perry's books you might like these. The William Monk series is crime fiction but it has another focus, the social ills of Victorian England and in particular on medicine. One of the protagonists, Hester was a nurse in the Crimea the other William Monk is a detective.

What a great find those watches were! Can hardly wait to see what you decide to do with them. I think they would make a lovely display just scattered about among some other momentoes.
