I spent part of the afternoon playing the cello, it was time well spent. I've been meaning to get it out but the days slip by so quickly, often a couple of weeks go by before I practice. It has added a richness to my life. That sounds so dramatic, lol. But I did enjoy it.

We enjoyed good Bible teaching today at church, and a nice quick meal when we got home from church. I made oven baked chicken with baked potatoes wrapped in foil and tucked in around the chicken. But oh boy, the dessert was so good. Frozen fruit ...mangoes, pineapple, peaches...all spooned into small bowls and defrosted in the microwave for about 40 seconds. What a treat...sometimes the simplest things are the best.

"I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name forever. Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever. Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable." Psalm 145; verses 1-3 Doesn't that just say it all!

Dear Maggie Ann, what a lovely posting. I noticed your cello in the photograph of the room the other day and I wondered if it was just an ornament or played. You are very blessed to be able to play an instrument and read music. Also to have a good church to belong to with good sound Bible teaching. Thank God every day for such blessings.
God bless you,
