How fun is this? Knitted strawberries! I saw this pattern online and just had to give them a try. I'm glad I did...it was a feather in my knitting bonnet for sure! I had to use double pointed needles once again..and look what I made. I'm the proud mama of two knitted strawberries, oh boy!

Pictured here are a few of the 'wire-wrapped' glass bead rings I've been making. I love wearing these...they are beautiful and inexpensive to make....even if they do take a bit of practise with the wire wrapping part. You tube has some nice tutorials on making these. I have a yellow glass 'cane bead' ring on right now. I change rings every day or so. How nice!

I was delighted to add this embroidered table cover to my small collection of doilys. Thats a doozy of a word to spell...anyway, it IS charming and was only about 50 cents. It seems I am too lazy to embroider some myself..smile. But I remain an avid appreciator.

Oops! My comment was eaten. I'll try again...

It's always a treat to see the lovely things on your blog (LOVE your header!), Maggie Ann. Isn't it just a little sad to think that someone put so much time into creating a lovely tablecloth and then to have it sold for 50 cents? But then, it found a good home and an appreciative owner so it's all good.

Your strawberries are adorable! Even the right size!

Your rings are just beautiful Maggie Ann, I am going to have a look on the tube and see how you do them. I wonder if you need many tools?
Thank you for stopping by my blog and encouraging me, you do inspire me often.
Have a lovely Friday :0)
