Wedding bells are soon to ring for two young friends of ours! This old-fashioned postcard tells the happy story, doesn't it? I'm sorry to be so very behind with blogging. Its sort of a different life with my husband home all the time, but to tell you the truth....I love it!

I'm still enjoying making stained glass pieces. Wish I had time to post what I'm up too, but its getting late. We had a busy day shopping the thrift shops today. I came home with books (of course!) and a puzzle..that is a map of the U.S. A pair of mint green pjays. The movie, 'that darn cat'. plus others, hmmm, one was 'the secret garden' and oh yes, Cinderella for only 25 cents. 4 of the darlingest dessert dishes too. I should have grouped this up and clicked a picture for the blog in case anyone comes by to visit.

I saw the most gorgeous red and orange maple leaves today, they were breath-taking! When I opened the car door to get out, they were filling the curbside with their beauty and I hurriedly picked up a few and tossed them onto the front seat. My husband just sighed but I couldn't help myself. What treasures....God's own handiwork. I hope you are having a good fall. There are times when so many heartaches come to many of us. Sometimes I just thank my God for these days of 'sameness'...and rest from trials.

"The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork." Psalm 19:1 Bye for now!

What a fun day thrifting with your husband you have described! And such treasures! The stained glass projects sound so intriguing--I think I would enjoy learning to do that. Especially the soldering. Tee Hee! If I don't have enough projects to keep me busy!
Glad you solved your picture program-that's usually the way it goes for me too--something simple.
I know just what you mean about the leaves--I always can see God's beauty, greatness and loving kindness in His marvelous Creation!
Have a wonderful weekend, Maggie Ann!
Blessings and Love to you,
Claudia O.

you know, that is probably why i haven't been online as much ... leo hasn't been napping as much (we've been reducing his meds - slowy) and so i have his company for most of the day ... plus our condo is open area, my computer is open to the living room and where leo & the cat are - so we chat and i don't really get the time to concentrate on my blog or even visit others ...

seasons of change ...

sending you big ((hugs))
