Our son is having a new roof put on his house. The front half is done and looks wonderful. I cooked lunch for the men and took it over to them. The house is 3 stories plus the roof! (its a duplex)... He's got the inside gutted. The third floor is really nice, He removed a wall to make a 'great room'. I haven't got any pictures of that but I should. Every room has a gas fireplace. Two of the downstairs rooms have mission style built-in bookcases flanking the fireplaces. He's got a lot of time and energy and money in it, but I think he's going to love living there when all is said and done. I'll miss him though. That won't be for a while yet....smile.

Im thinking what a huge house that is! That looks like a ton of woprk. Oh well, the young can do it. Its not for us old bodies to fret about. LOl
Wow! And that will be his first place? It's huge. What an undertaking.
