I'm getting ready for Sunday School and what a blessing it will be! We have so many blessings and so much fun with the children.

Here's a peek into my world of knitting. I ran out of homespun wool which I used for the body of my 'Anne' shoulder shawl. Now I am using Bernat soft chunky for the edging. I think it will work out. I love this edging which is like a ruffle somewhat. You have 12 stitchs on your needle and every other row you join it to the shoulder shawl using a live stitch...(thats one still not bound off and on the needle). Its working out great...I'm pleased. I was knitting away during the debate last night. Oh, how I pray McCain and Palin get in the White House! I wouldn't trust Obama no way, no how.

Hi, Thanks for coming to visit me. I've been out of town this week, so I['m late picking up my mail. Your yarns look so exciting! And your son's house looks like a real treasure.

You asked me what kind of pattern..Well it is going to be a triangle shawl. It is all mostly half double crochets. I found it on here at Lion Brand. Do you ever block your things? I am thinking this would be better blocked. Sandy

Hi Maggie Ann ... lovely shoulder shawl you are knitting. When I was a young girl my grandparents bought me a knitting machine ... it was fun to use ... can't say I ever knitted anything other that scarfs on it though ... at one point in my young life my dad sold Singer sewing machines ... he was a burly construction worker ... selling those machines ... but ahhh could he sew ... he got me hooked on sewing at a very young age ... please post a picture of the completed project.

Your Sunday school project brings back a flood of memories when I was a teacher :) ... what a blessing.

Dear Maggie Ann, I love teaching Sunday School. The girls that I teach are such a blessing to me.

The knitting looks wonderful. I can't wait to see it when you finish.

We are going to have to pray harder than ever that God's will be done in this election. I don't even like to think where we could be in this country this time next year. Enjoy your Autumn. I am loving mine. connie
