The challenge this week for 'Wednesday Stamper' is in using the word 'Art' in the collage plus at least one rubber stamp. I used two stamps from 'Above the Mark'. The background was fun to make. I used Tim Holtz distress ink and stamped with a cosmetic sponge over an orange bag netting. What a neat result! Then I traced and covered chipboard letters with clip art and outlined them with a black magic marker. Doing the background was the really fun part of this collage. After I got the 'art' word on there I was at a bit of a loss. Thanks for looking!

That's terrific.

I love the images from Above the Mark, though don't use mine as often as I could.

Hi again! I guess I didn't realize that you were "Bit of Whimsey". Now I get it!
I used to make and sell essential oil and herbal products, cosmetics and therapeutic blends. I don't anymore. I give away recipes for free and refer people to my favorite supplier to get their ingredients. (No, I don't get a commission!) So if you tell me what you're trying to accomplish with the oils I can tell you what I've had success with.

The sampler is beautiful. I like the pictures in the letters and did you make up the sayings you put across the bottom. They are so true and there are so many different kinds of art to express one self.

Hi Maggie Ann
I like the saying about art and your project turned out relly great.
Was it you who asked me to put a link on my blog to yours? I forgot who asked me and I deleted the email :(

You are so very clever when it comes to art. I hope you're keeping an 'art journal' of all your creations.
