The week has gone by so quickly. Like this lady in the picture, I'm so glad I gave my heart to Jesus Christ, my Saviour. What a privelege to respond to God. He speaks to us through his word, The Holy Bible and uses Bible teachers, preachers and evangelists to reach out to us. I need to remind myself, I'm not here for my pleasure...I was created to worship and love my creator. To know Him is to love Him. I've spent the evening gettting ready for Sunday School. My husband made the cutest fishing pole...by glueing a magnet on to the end of a key. The kids will 'fish' for paper fish with paper clips on them and when they catch a fish, they will get to ask review questions of their friends. I think its going to be lots of fun! Our Bible lesson is about Jesus, the Son of God, who worked a miracle by the mighty power of God. He filled the boats with so many fish, the boats were almost sinking. Then he called the fisherman to follow him and he would show them how to teach people about God. You can read about it in Luke 5:1-11. We will be making bookmarkers too. Whew...it will be a busy time and yet a sweet time, for the Lord will be there...blessing us as we open his word and learn of his will for our lives.

I am so thankful that I asked Jesus into my heart almost 37 years ago now! Wow!! Long time...

Your little fish game looks like fun for the children.

blessing us as we open his word

To hear the Word taught in wholesome language is Music to my ears. Like listening to a symphony when the thoughts spoken align with God. I can feel my heart, or perhaps spirit, lift and excitement jumps in me when hearing His written Word. I can't get enough.
