We got 6 inches of snow yesterday, it is really beautiful to behold! Sorry so much time has gone by since I last posted. C. is still in the hospital and there have been Dr. appts. and therapy for hubby etc. Life has flown by lately. Dh has gotten the first part of an implant in his jaw for his missing tooth and it has caused him soooo much pain!
I've been busy trying to keep up with him...he's a man on the go...=). Our new Sunday School class for 2nd and 3rd graders is a joy. I haven't practised my cello music for 4 days...had a test at the hospital...it turned out well, but ate up two good days.
We got a new printer which I'm trying to get used too. Its a Canon and we had an HP which I liked better. It seemed so much faster!
We have been reading up a storm in between times and watching the old tv reruns of 'The Fugitive'. Blockbuster offers the oldies but only from their online service. It was Zorro before this...that I couldn't get into! at all.
This post is sort of a filler to let you know I'm still blogging...well today anyway. My husband is off to get a haircut and grocery shop and I said I have to stay home and 'do' things. As I copied my Sunday School helps for the children I turned on the pc while waiting for the Canon to make up its mind to help me. And, here I am! I hope you all are having a great month preparing to celebrate the coming to earth of our Saviour. My heart is blessed and then some by the love of God for us.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John chapter 3, verse 16.
"These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:..." The book of 1st John, chapter 5, verse 13 & 14.
So we have it in black & white, that if we confess to God that we are hell deserving sinners, and ask for his forgiveness and ask him to save us .....he will. Repent, believe, receive Christ as your personal Saviour. Its that simple. Its time to rejoice!

Hi Maggie Anne-

I'm so glad you stopped by my blog today! It was so nice to read your sweet comments. I hope you find the peach halves. They're all over here in every store! If all else fails the slices would probably work, but I've never tried them. Peaches and cinnamon candies is all you need. Maybe the halves just look prettier, but the slices would probably taste the same, and that's all that matters! LOL! I know you just stopped by my blog, but I just updated it again with all kinds of shabby baby shower stuff, so if you'd like, stop by again! Stay warm in all the beautiful snow, and I hope your family gets to feeling better!

Wow....6 inches of snow! i have never seen snow but could use some cold weather here in FL :o) I know what you mean by time flying by lately especially with all the holidays. I hope you husband is feeling better and in less pain. Beautiful verse you have included...as always :o) Take care.

p.s. don't know if you got my last comment but I asked you if you ever got that gesso. i know you were deciding whether to get it or not. if so, let me know how it went. No rush though, I know you are busy. I just like hearing how it is when you experiment with the new mediums.

Have a good one and happy holidays and stay warm and hugs!

Hi Maggie Ann, I just love those vintage picture postcards you post on your blog! Do you source them from the Internet, or do you have a fabulous collection of your own to scan and post here?!
Sad to hear your family have suffered poor health these past months - I hope everyone will be recovered enough to enjoy a blessed Christmas.
