This is my 'find' of the week at the Salvation Army store. Little Maggie doesn't want to learn cursive writing and her teacher outsmarts her. The story and illustrations are just a delight! I have other Beverly Cleary children's books but didn't know this one even existed! I have her Memoir. 'My Own Two Feet' too. I am a Beverly Cleary fan and a big 'Ramona' fan. Are you? =). And....I've just knit my 2nd 'rose' for a scarf, but am experimenting with needle size etc. yet. I'll post a picture when I get it done. The red sweater is still a work in progress, slow but sure.

Wishing you a pleasant Sunday....thanks for visiting!

Oh Maggie, that's a new one to me, too. I am also a Beverly Cleary fan. I "grew up" on her. I read Ramona to all my kindergartners.

I remember my kids (girls) loving Beverly Cleary too!! I wish that I could knit. My mother has tried and tried to teach me but I still like to crochet so much better..it is easier!! Sounds like you are having a great time with your knitting though. You must live someplace that is a lot colder. I live in Ga and we are experiencing great weather now that winter had finally came. Ramona was the "first" book I read as as child. It started me on reading! I loved it. I was the little sister and I had fun reading about another little sister! What fun to find a book by your favorite author. I love when that happens. I did have fun scrapbooking on Friday. My hubby gave me my birthday present early this year. A new camera! I love him and the NEW camera! I go away on the 14th on a business trip. Keep me in your prayers. I'm going to DC to a trade show for the products we sell. Small town me in a big city!
