I spent hours online today trying to track down more Patons 'Katrina' yarn, only to find that it has been discontinued. However, I can order it from Canada so that is what I plan to do. The back of my sweater is only 3 rows from being done and now its time to start the front. Last night I made some collages....oh fun...smile. And, tonight we stopped at the Good Will and I brought home a framed picture of a teacup. Oh so pretty! and a book about garnishing foods. It took my fancy...and I bought 10 plastic containers for my crafting junk/treasures. They have separate compartments...sort of like me...grin. Let's see....there's my reading compartment, my artsy 'compartment'...my music 'compartment'....and so on. My father used to say, 'Variety is the spice of life'. Nothing beats living for Jesus though. In my morning devotions, God was talking to me about listening to his wisdom from his word, the Bible. And I was talking to him in prayer about how important it is for me to not wander away from his presence. Did you ever get up in the morning and feel like you need to do six different things at the same time. And, sometimes I get sidetracked and don't get much done at all! But the times I shut it all out to read my Bible and think about what God is saying....fills my heart with love for him and changes me...in places in my heart only God has access too.
"Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding." Proverbs 3:13

I always feel like I need to do six different things at the same time. It's all I can do to be still and read my Bible.

Oh dear! I take it that you had run out of the special yarn, for your sweater. Eeek! So glad you found some to order, from Canada.

I really like this inspiring thought. There are corners of the heart where we hide things. If you're a packrat like me, there's no telling what's collecting dust. Jesus comes to sweep out those cobwebs and shine His Light where shadows once dwelt.

i was stressing myself out the other day, thinking of everything that "HAD TO" be done! it was my own list, that i was stressing about ... why? i don't know!!!

i think spending time in the word and trying to create a good environment for my poor hubby should be #1 on the list!

i am settling down a bit now ... i guess it was just the stress of leo being in the hospital for 4 days ...

blessings to you, dear Maggie Ann
