An ATC I did yesterday (its enlarged for the blog post). I was thinking about joining an online Artist Trading Card group...but am having second thoughts. It takes time to participate and my spinning is very time consuming (did I mention totally enjoyable!)plus other things like cello practise. The green foil on this card is from a Hershey's chocolate kiss wrapper...stroke of genius...saving that..grin. And, my Father used to think daydreaming was what I did best when I was a girl. It softens life's hard edges anyway. Imagination...enables us to walk in the shoes of someone else who is much like us...for example look how millions (I dare say) bonded with Anne Shirley of the famous book 'Anne of Green Gables'. I still love that book and have empathy for Anne. And I love the movies too...even the old black & white ones. Better run....no cello or spinning today...I'm resting my ankle and hands. But it is bedtime..."Now the day is over, Night is drawing nigh....Shadows of the evening steal across the sky. When the morning wakens, Then may I arise...Pure and fresh and sinless In Thy holy eyes. Amen." from the hymn "Now the Day Is Over" Sabine Baring-Gould/Joseph Barnby

This is a lovely card. I like how you used the found objects. The green foil from the candy bar, the word daydream from an old book (am I correct?). Very nice. Maybe we could trade some cards. We could pick a topic and then take a little time to do them. That way we wouldn't be under any pressure or deadlines and we could still have the fun of a swap. Let me know.

This is a gorgeous ATC. Love that you told us where the green foil came from.

I love your project. It is so sweet. I am glad you are enjoying the spinning so much. Is your ankle hurt? Maybe I missed something. I hope it isn't. Have a very good Lord's Day, connie from Texas
