This is my first ever issue of 'Somerset Life' and its really nice. Along side it are some of my spinning results. The brown and cream tweed is plyed together from the cream single twist (not this ball though, this was my VERY first spinning....a little rough...smile) and the brown roving that looks kind of like hair...was spun into a single ply yarn and then they were spun counterclock wise together and I have my first tweed yarn to knit with. The roving here with the orange and cream & brown I carded together and I am looking forward to spinning this and seeing what pretty single ply yarn I make. My son brought me the orange roving back from Switzerland. Yippee...! This morning I made a little collage which is hanging on my wall beside my bedside table...I like it mucha! I'm a little tired out from my cello practise so will maybe watch some tv or maybe spin after bit. I read this verse in my morning Bible reading and it blessed my heart. "Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy." Micah chapter 7, verse 18. God's judgement follows the sinning, but the purpose of correction is to restore us to God. God is love...

You asked about my old clip art pictures. None of them, are mine. When I use clip art in my blogging, I find it on the Net.

And I put the source, at the bottom of my postings, in clickable links. So others can go to the same lovely places. I think this is all right, for posting. But for other use, I don't know the protocol. :-)

And Oh My! You mentioned a lovely old book... "Old Rose And Silver." How lucky you are, if you have a copy of your own. I can't find it in my library system. And on Amazon.com, I find only _one_ used copy and it is $41.25 + shipping! lucky you! :-)

Hi Maggie Ann, I got the "treasures" you sent my way ... THANKS EVER SO MUCH!! Now I can learn from your technique and hopefully make two for my guest room ... one themed "Home Sweet Home" and the other "Faith, Hope, and Charity" to hang above each twin bed in the guest room. Have a great week.
