Here we are, on the eve of another day of worship and rest from our labors. As Amy Carmichael says in her book "Thou Givest, They Gather"..'All that matters is how we live through these days while we are trusted to trust'. "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need." Hebrews 4:16....."Simply trusting every day, Trusting through a stormy way; Even when my faith is small, Trusting Jesus, that is all....chorus; Trusting as the moments fly, Trusting as the days go by; Trusting Him what'er befall, Trusting Jesus, that is all." The hymn.. Trusting Jesus. Edgar P.Stites/Ira Sankey

Thank you for commenting that I make you feel like waving Old Glory right along with me. :-)

And about my daughter's spinning wheel... No I've never tried. She is so much more accomplished than I, with all sorts of things. Knitting and crocheting and needlework, and now this. My only such ability was some simple machine sewing of old-time-Jiffy patterns, "back at the beginning of time." :-)

I hope you had a lovely weekend. We did. Short because everyone but me worked on Saturday. But I had a nice time viisting my mother in law. We watched Lawrence Welk & the Gaithere. Thanks for the tutorial on the inks. I'm going to look for some this payday. Have you ever thought about taking some pictures while you do one of your pieces? Think about it. I'd enjoy seeing how you do it. Have a great week.

Amen, it is so easy to forget to TRUST in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding, but in all our ways to acknowledge Him, so that he will direct our paths
