How sweet that Fido loves Raggedy so much! After I get done posting...I'm going to read this little story by Johnny Gruelle. This book has stood the test of time. On my nightstand is 'The Yearling', another favorite. Its been a bit of a sad evening for me but the sun will come up tomorrow just the same, my God is ever faithful! 'He will perfect that which concerneth me'....one of the scriptures I never had to memorize..I read it and it stuck in my heart like a magnet to my God. When our daughter was home last week we made some glass 'slide' necklaces that we both LOVE! Now that she's gone back home, I'm not having success with the soldering iron. Tomorrow I'll try again...she did give me some tips. Its been so long since I've soldered! I've been meaning to post a picture of them but keep forgetting. Thanks for all your great comments about collages...you've been more helpful than you know. Right now...grin, I could care less about them but tomorrow is right around the corner. Hope you don't think my Raggedy picture is silly...I don't know why she came to mind but I went right to the bookcase and brought her in here. She looks happy on the book cover but just like us, she has trials and tribulations that put tears in her button eyes. Oh, sweet empathy! How I love you!~~ Hope you are all cozy tonight...yes, I keep a sweater handy...the ac can get chilly even set at 75. Take care...see you tomorrow!

I am so sorry you are sad. I love Raggedy and I also have always liked the Yearling. I hope you enjoyed your reading. All our days can't be up or we would never know what being happy means. I hope tomorrow your heart is filled to running over with the bright sunshine and your smile is always there. Have a good night. connie from Texas

Hello Maggie Ann,

I hope the morning has brought sunshine and a lighter heart for you. Aren't those old books wonderful? Hope you have a beautiful weekend!

Dear Maggie-ann...I was just at Saija's and heard you say that you are blue.

It has been so long that I have written to you but I read your blog and your comments too.

I was quite surprised when I clicked on to Mrs. Mac's site the other night and the picture that she had there reminded me of YOU!!

You and I think alike about books.
I still love children's stories.
All the Golden Books and I must admit the Grimm's fairy tales.
I guess I will never grow up!
I had the strongest urge the other day to read Rainbow Valley and The Story Girl and the Golden Road again.
You can never read them too many times but alas, I am a little strapped for time!

I thought that I would be having a little more time since I wasn't working anymore but I sure am finding a whole lot of things to do Maggie-ann!

A Christian can never truly say that life is boring and that there is nothing to do!!

Tomorrow Betty and I and Bernie are taking a trip to Brandford to see some of the school chums that used to go to school in Rivers, Manitoba with my sister and me.
It should be interesting..

Well I will say goodnight for now and hope you have a happy weekend!

Love you Maggie-ann and don't be blue!!!

Love Terry
