Oh baby, its cold out there today! Can you believe the turn in the weather? Of course we don't have the worst of it by far..a shame for the people that do. I'm almost shivering inside in the warmth of home....just to hear the wind makes me chilly. I'll soon get warmed up though....cello practise straight ahead! ....a bit of poem that makes me smile. "I threw my coat around me.....To take a haughty leave, But my hand went through the lining.......Instead of down the sleeve!" Rebecca McCann.~~~
"Isaiah 40:31.....But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." I am claiming this verse for my day!

It was very cold here last week. We had to cover up plants because the frost came again! This week is going to be in the 70's...much better! I will blow some of this warm weather your way :)

really? It's been quite chilly here lately too, the autumn breeze is in the air. When does it start to warm up there?

What a nice picture and lovely little verse. And the Bible verse is one of my favorites. It is chilly here in Maryland. I walk home from work and I was bundled up in my winter coat, hat, & gloves. It was also raining but my umbrella didn't help much because of the wind. I hope you enjoyed your lessons. Keep warm.

Thanks for visiting my husband's blog. He'll be tickled! Check out my new listing of labels for my blog. You will find a babel for Old Family Photos. My dad & mom are there. Dad was in the Army during WW2. He was 45 when I was born in 1959.

I hope it warms up for you. It is warm enough here that we have been to the pool, the beach and are running around in shorts. Okay, don't mean to rub it in....hope you get some warm weather soon :o)

I loved the line of that poem! It's been pretty chilly here too. I thought spring had arrived, but I guess I was wrong. We don't have snow though. For that I am thankful.

I loved the line of poetry. I think I may have done that very thing when I was a child. Maybe the wind will die down soon. It has been pretty pleasant here but the winds has been blowing here also being so close to the beach. We are 3 miles but that is close enough for me. Too close at hurricane time. connie from Texas

Thanks for the comment; glad you enjoyed my post. Sorry about the 'words.' Never intended to be crude, just trying to go with my emotions at the time while trying to find the humor in it. It may sound funny today, but it wasn't funny then.

Hi Maggie Ann,
What a year for weather it's been! We have already had pouring rain and glorious sunshine today. Now it's a little overcast and very cool. Not too many days ago it was 78 degrees! I'm glad to see most of winter gone though and my heart is with those who are missing their daffodils.
Thank you for visiting Merryville. I always enjoy your thoughtful comments so much. We have so many interests in common.
