I don't know where this past week has gone. I've kept busy being domestic...purr. That sounds a bit trite but its true none the less...=). I like to keep a batch of soup cooked up for lunchs and quick meals and added a meatloaf and pumpkin bars for my hungry men. And, my home is crying out for a spring cleaning...dust is decorating the pictures frames in my computer room shamelessly. Palm Sunday gave me a lot of thought for meditation...how our Lord suffered cruelly to take the punishment for our sins. You know, when you stop to think of it..the marvellous way God made our bodies, it makes sense that we were designed to live eternally...then came the sin in the garden and ever since we age and have illness. And the horrible place called hell, waiting to devour all who do not or will not receive the free gift of salvation that Christ allowed himself to be crucified to provide for ALL who are born into this world. Yes, lots of serious thoughts this week.
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: Not of works lest any man should boast." Ephesians chapter 2, verses 8 & 9a....."wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he (Jesus) ever liveth to make intercession for them." taken from the book of Hebrews...chapter 7, verse 25. How does one become "saved" ? 1. Admit to God in prayer that you are a sinner and ask him to forgive you and save your soul....Romans chapter 3, verse 23 'for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" ....2. Romans 6:23.....Romans 10:9-13. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
