All washed up and ready to enjoy! Thanks again to Amy who was such a sweetheart to send these to me! I love'm and am using them with such enjoyment. =) I've always loved needlework. When our first little girl was about 3 I got up early each morning and crocheted on doilies. I had a passion for ruffles back then. I would 'cook' the starch and starch them and pin them on a cutting board with waxed paper in each and every ruffle. I found a new place to hang things-right off the back of the cellar steps. They say Invention is the mother of necessity...don't they? ~~Thanks to all of you who left me those heartwarming comments on my previous posts! ~~ Loved them...Well, time to hurry away. Today I made a collage and 2 book markers...what fun! Did some ironing, walked on the treadmill and practised my cello , plus some reading.
"Let everything that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD." Psalm 150:6

This is on the other side of my craft/sewing room. Guess what I make at this table? Some of my happiest hours are spent here. I don't dare post a picture of it AFTER I collage. The floor around my chair looks like a parade went by...bits of paper all over the place. I make my jewelry here too...more fun!

Ta..da! My sewing table has a new look...uncluttered for a change and I'm so pleased! When I'm sewing I have always liked to pin my pattern directions to a bulletin board behind the machine. In my daydreams I imagine myself following crafting tutorials on Mom's computer that is now mine....as I sit with rapt attention, creating pretty things. Trouble is , I'm slower than molasses in January...thats what my Mother always said! How could she say such a thing? Didn't she know the truth can be painful...smile.

Your sewing/craft area looks divine. Maybe someday I will have one. I can dream, can't I? I love the mice stamp you used. The mice are some of my favorites. I never owned any, but I had a friend with a bunch of them. Years ago, a bunch of us with preschoolers would get together and swap stamps. I always went for the mice.

Dear Maggie Ann, your picture of the hanging doilies is a work of art in itself. My hubby loves the smell of ironing. I think I will treat him to some of it today ;)

My craft room looks like a tornado hit it when I'm working there. I have to have everything around me and out in the open. On my quiz on my blog I got 3 right without looking at the answers! Thanks for participating!
