How about a bowl for lunch? Its been that busy around here thanks to my idea of repainting our bedroom. I chose a nice dark color that matched perfectly a floral fabric window treatment (to be), that our dear decorator friend matched for us. But I didn't use a primer to cover the strong blue that was already on the walls and we got a purply chocolate color instead. Add semi-gloss to the mix and it was doomed to die-(read, be repainted as quickly as possible). So, then came a coat of ceiling white on the ceiling and onto the purply/brown walls. Then a coat of light blue. (By this time all the wind has gone out of my sails and my chin is restly sadly on my chest). Trying to save $$ we only got one gallon of light blue, and did you guess? It is patchy, and needs another coat. This will make the 4th time painting these walls! (Thank you A.!!!! for coming over and spending your day painting & painting some more!) So, its been so busy and tiring here, I WILL be having cereal for lunch, but thats no problem...smile. I 'm just longing for some 'down' time. A good Christmas novel or how about the video.."Little Women". Oh that would be relaxing! I'll get some pictures of the tree eventually to post. Right now, near by is the bedroom dresser and nighttables and you name it, it just might be out in the living room right now, WITH the tree!

This has blessed my heart in my morning prayer and worship. "All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out...And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day." St. John 6:37, & 40. Of such am I and my heart is lifted up inside me with joyful thanks. This verse also was my daughter's favorite verse, that comforted her greatly during her teen years. This day she lives, not on earth but with her Saviour, who left heaven to give his life to take the punishment for her sins...and had she been the only sinner here, He would have come for her alone. Oh glory to God and our Saviour Jesus Christ!!! What a blessed gift of supreme love! Salvation!

Thanks so much for coming over to visit. I haven't been around much this week. I have taken the week off from work (well, the half I get paid for - I still have the kiddoes on the other half), and have accomplished the shopping. I have begun baking, which I haven't done much of for several years, and hope to get some wrapping done yet today. It's amazing how much time I spend here at my computer. HMMM! Anyway, I hate painting, so have high regard for anyone who would do the same room 4 times and still have their salvation intact!!

Blessings on you - I didn't know you had lost a child. That has to be the hardest thing in the world. I have been through it vicariously with a best friend and sister-in-law, and could have lost our son to drugs 5 times in 2 years, but praise God he is delivered and redeemed!

Come back any time.

Oh boy! Painting to repaint does not sound very fun. You must post pics when the room is finished. I sometimes eat cereal for breakfast and lunch. The picture is very cute. Hope you have a good weekend.

Hello Maggie Ann,

I haven't been commenting for a while. So much to do and it seems overwhelming at times. Your verse refreshed my heart. I hope we get to see pics of your freshly painted room. Bless your heart, it must have been discouraging how it turned out the first time. Hope it is beautiful when finished. Have a wonderful day!
Blessings to you!

I know what hard work it is to redo a room. I hope you are close to finishing it and I know it will be lovely when finished. I will be painting my office/craft room sometime in January and I'm not looking forward to it.
