We have been so busy lately, sorry I haven't posted more often. I'm feeling much better now too. I am trying to take advantage of this week to get caught up on household things before our daughter and her family come visit us next week. After not feeling well, I want to do a 'zillion' things...smile. As soon as I can, I'll be around to visit everyone who left a comment and then some...;-). I'll have some fun photos to show & tell you what all we've been up to here. I think these old magazine adds could be used for non-commercial purposes...1906 was a long time ago! Feel free to use any of these. By the way, these spoons pictured here were free with the metal cap from a 2 oz. jar of Rex Beef Ext. and 10 cents in silver or stamps to cover postage. 'State plainly whether you want Tea Spoons or Bouillon Spoons'. I imagine it would take a long time to work your way through a 2 oz. jar though! ~~ I promised myself this would be a 'quickie' post. Off to bed I go so I can cram in as much tomorrow as I have energy for. Blessings to each and every one of you that have stopped by...

"I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. My meditation of him shall be sweet; I will be glad in the LORD." Psalms 104:34,35.

I collect silver and heavy gauge stainless spoons; silver were my grandmother's ... but the stainles were demos purchased for about a buck a piece by mail order... one can never have enough spoons. Hope you're getting some much needed energy for the company.

we've been busy putting together my computer table, the last 2 days - which means more unpacking and sorting ... but thankfully i wasn't sick while doing this - like poor you! sheesh!!! however, my poor hubby sure took a beating with the effort he put into it, hopefully he'll be better by next week ...

sounds like you are going to have a houseful of visitors soon! :o)

Enjoy your time with your daughter, daughters are so much fun. I got to spend 3 days with my daughter in PA. I treasure the time. Hope you are feeling your best when she comes, so you can enjoy her to the fullest. God's blessings to you.
I would like to put you on my side bar, right now I go to Mrs. Darling an get on from there. I guess I'll have to ask her how to do it. Xanga make it easy, to connect from one blog to the other. But some of the blog unders xanga are kind of bad and I don't like that, but it easy to use.
