This is the first thing EARLY on Friday morning. Its just past midnight Thanksgiving Day. I won't be one of the shoppers who arise at 4 or 5 am to get the good shopping buys but do admire anyone who has the determination to get up that early. We spent a quiet day at home except for my hubby who went quite early grocery shopping while I was still in dreamland. (He loves grocery shopping..really!) This is another bit of 'pretty' that our decorator friend did in the kitchen. (you can click on the photo to enlarge it for a closer look if you'd like) The framed print had been hanging in our bedroom...there's only one not so good thing about this ...our kitchen clock hung here and we STILL look at this place on the wall often during the day for the time! I'm thinking of getting a small clock and putting it on the shelf..that might work. Its off to bed I go, remembering that God is caring for each of us in the most tender way, and longing for us to spend time with him and for him. Oh that he might teach my willful heart to do his will.

"Love Divine, so great and wondrous, All my sins He then forgave! I will sing his praise forever, For His blood, His power to save." Chorus..."He the pearly gates will open, so that I may enter in; For He purchased my redemption, And forgave me all my sin." Hymn..He the Pearly Gates Will Open.

I once moved an often "viewed/used" clock and it drove myself crazy missing it .. silly but we train our minds and habits form :) The kitchen looks lovely. For now, mine is in my dreams .. but soon to be reality :)

Hello Maggie Ann,

Your kitchen redecorating looks lovely. I like plates display on the wall. I saw a peak of your dining room on the right of the picture. Is that green depression glass on the mantel? I have a few pieces of depression glass in various colors.
Your posts always encourage me. Have a wonderful evening!
