Oh my, I always have a happy moment when Blogger co-operates with my request to post...know the feeling?..=). Yesterday I collaged about 6 more fence post pickets, I wish for an endless supply of them, don't you just know it. =). Our Christian school has a craft sale...especially for the children to do thier holiday shopping for Mom & Dad , bro.& sister etc. The prices are kept low and after the kids are done shopping first, others are allowed to shop.
~~The second picture here is our new family/sunroom formerly our garage. I'd really forgotten to post about it before. There will be several other views to show you later on this week. This is the results of our interiour decorator friend who is just fabulous! The chairs which I had are the focal point of the room as well as the wall with the french doors & windows. We love it! The LORD gave us the frieze carpet, trully. We searched all of our area stores, including 2 large carpet outlets and nothing. Then someone suggested Prizants and we went there and there it was. Our daughter had just been asking the salesman how much this style carpet would cost in the color deep red and how much to get it bound. He have her a price of $450. At the same time my hubby & I were in the remment room and saw this carpet. I was skeptical (who me?...grin) and asked if we could bring it back if it didn't work for our room. He said yes, but for only 24 hours. I forgot to tell you the price...just $100. Hurray!!!!Away we went for home...this roll of carpet (already bound by the way) balanced through the back window of the car and out the front side were I was sitting wearing hubby's winter gloves and holding a plate (another story) in front of the gap in the window to fend off the rush of cold night air. We got home fine, and grandson was so excited he did a little happy dance on it...he was adorable to watch. Oh blissful moments, how fast they fly away. We have since hung the stained glass, a gift from my daughter one Christmas. The dried branches in the pottery vase ($5. would you believe...it has a big chip on the back of the lip..hey, it gives it character right?) anyway, the branches have a string of star lights from Ikea. and are fun at night to have lit. Well, off I go to get the Christmas tree down and actually do some WORK! Like get the tree stuff and get the wheelbarrow out of the front yard. Hope you have a peach of a day...=).

~~"The church's one foundation is Jesus Christ her Lord; She is His new creation By water and the word; From heav'n He came and sought her...To be his holy bride; With his own blood he bought her, And for her life He died." hymn.."The Church's One Foundation"..Samuel Wesley/Samuel Stone.
In my devotions this morning...I paused over the second part of verse (John 4:14) "but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into ever lasting life." I'm so glad I drank of Jesus (heard the gospel and repented of my sins and prayed for salvation)...and he is with me and will carry me upwards to everlasting life when my breath is ..no more. "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints" what joy to enter into His presence it will be! People are passing on all around us daily, oh that they knew the Lord personally as many of us do, but the majority pass on...into judgement and hell. I'm passing out Christmas tracts whenever I can while shopping. Because He loves them so...and yearns to save!

The room is gorgeous - like somthing out of BHG! You're really getting your house in ship shape. I need to get going on my trees today, too. The girls are here, so they want to "help." Kinda hard to have that kind of help and get anything done! But they're so eager! It's a snowy, Christmasy day here in Colorado, so we're hunkering down and enjoying a day at home.

I love the new fence post pickets. Can you post a before and after shot? And where did you get them? I haven't been able to get my stuff out. Just too much homework to help the daughter with. Maybe tonight.........

And I love the room too. The colors go together well. Bargins are great!

Dear Maggie-Ann...Thank you for visiting my blog so many times.!!
I was thinking about you and Sabine on Sunday night as I was watching the Hallmark movie.
I was thinking how neat it would be if we were all watching it at the same time!
Were you able to watch it?
It was so good and I even caught that husband of mine crying through it!!
He always tapes them for me and then puts them on to a dvd.
Usually we keep the commercials out but no way do I want those good hallmark commercials out. They are so touching. I love them! They are right down to earth.
Well I have to work in the morning but I am going to take time tomorrow to look at your postings of the last fews days.
My computer is right back to snuff I think after all the trouble it was causing me!!...Love Terry

O, Maggie you are such an inspiration. How I wish I had the energy to fix my house up like I dream of, I have enough stuff to fix about 3 houses. Your room looks so nice and a person can enjoy it so much more when it hasn't cost an arm and a leg. Isn't it wonderful that God cares enough, (with all his important things to do) to give us ideas how we can enjoy nice things by making do with what we have.
