Hurray! Blogger came through for me...I'm a happy girl. Here are 3 views of my collaged fence post tops. The one I took with the camera so you could see the sides of the picket and the other two I scanned in. The bird is on the back side of the picket and his pretty yellow background is a paper napkin...a simple thing yet a little beauty on its own. Just like life....many simple things, but things of beauty if I view them with a thankful heart. I enjoyed making this soooo much, and am about to create some more for gift giving. I may drill a hole or two at the top of some for a hanger, but I love having this sitting on the bookcase and as you go downstairs I can enjoy the cheerful back and going upstairs....the nostalgic front. I used crackle paint and some wall paper border left over from our newly painted and bordered bathroom. And some embossing...just a little. Also, I had a request for a knitted dish cloth pattern and this Dishcloth Boutique is a rather wonderful site to visit. I like it very much....=). Thought I'd pass it along. Happy Day to You!

What a pretty home that you have. I've enjoyed seeing your "new" cuboard. What a clever idea. It turned out so well and you've arranged everything so nicely.

Hi Maggie Ann!,
Your picket fence collage is a great idea and just charming! The "content" theme, the vintage pic (is that from your vintage magazine?), and the use of Scripture! Delightful combination! I loved the quote too!

Gee, you've given me a great idea. I have a wooden ironing board that was removed from a "built-in" cabinet I purchased to convert into a built-in kitchen spice rack ... I could decopauge the board and feature it my new laundryroom on the wall. I hate the thought of just throwing it away as it's very old and full of memories.

Thank you so much for your comments and info. I am sorry to take so long in responding. It has been a really busy time these last couple of weeks. I love your bookcase idea. I will let you know what we decide to do. I will show pictures too. About the picture... I surely wish I was that talented. As it happened I found that paper at a craft store just as I was giving up and about to walk away. I love your home and can't wait to see more pictures. Temmy
