This is my current spinning ....because of the lengthwise color strips I have to spin 'from the fold' and believe me, I really haven't got the hang of it yet, but I'm making a progress of sorts. You spin off of small sections, about 6 to 8 inches long and keep joining new as you go along. Tricky!

Today is my sister's birthday, and what a gift it is to have a sister. She doesn't use a computer at all, my what she is missing, eh? She has special needs and is doing really well just now for which I am so thankful. Since this is just the beginning of my day, I must get busy. Hmmm, I could just put slips of paper in a hat and pull one to see which chore to start first. Will it be ironing, or wash windows? No, it will be that cello music I am struggling with...the cut-time rhythm I am as dull at as can be. Playing in a group so far has been quite intimidating to me. We shall see how this turns out. I have no time for my cross-stitch and collaging and I just plain take the time for the spinning if I have to stay up late at night to do it! Hope you have a 'just right' day and get the most important thing on your 'to do' list done...and hey, there's sunshine today....hurray!

"Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit is no guile." Psalm 32:1 &2

Ooooh, the colors in that wool so rich. I like the idea of putting little slips of paper in a hat :) I have some of the same one: ironing, windows, etc. and I'll add mowing, cleaning the fridge and pantry too! Happy birthday to your dear sister. Have a great day, Maggie Ann.

Maggie Ann, I love your enthusiasm for whatever you take up - fancy spinning wool! Those colours are lovely - just like my beloved peacocks! Thanks for the plug for my blog you put on here - how nice is that! Sorry to hear hubby has been ill - the flu is a wretched thing. Keep him home until he has fully recovered - it's twice as bad if you have a recurrence after the first bout, because your body is still weak.

Very pretty Maggie Ann. My to do list is just getting longer and longer and I just keep trying. My weight is doing good though so that makes me a happy camper today!! Have a great weekend. Sandy

Beautiful color of yarn! You amaze me with your energy level. I don't dare make a list, because it would depress me!

Thanks you for stopping by the tribute to my FIL. It has been quite a week, and I'm trying to get caught up. I really should quit blogging now and pay some attention to the little girls!
