Blogger wouldn't let me post this picture of Saturday's journal page....so I came over to 'Hello' and here we are. Saturday evening I made my Sunday jounal page & posted it. What I didn't show was that on the jounaling page I made a vellum pocket and inserted the hymn page of 'Leaning on the Everlasting Arms.' Have you guessed what I'm going to say next? Pastor picked that very hymn to begin the service with. What a great big blessing....like a confirmation of assurance from above and really...isn't it? I say yes with all my heart and a big smile. I am so thrilled to be saved, and own to it! ....I love the Bible account where Jesus casts the legions of unclean spirits out of the man that dwelt among the tombs. When he was healed he wanted to go with Jesus, but this is what the Lord told him...."Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the LORD hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.". Mark chapter 5, verse 19. The same thing the LORD says to each of us too who know him and love him. Posted by Picasa

I cannot tell you how many times something like you talked about has happened to me...Like the hymn being used in church...that has happened more times than I can tell you...When I am down and cannot take it anymore I get in the car and my favorite station is always on and the song,"God is in control" just happens to be playing!! Sure just happens to be playing!! God is always in Control of everything around us...even in the very small things ...even in a journal!!!

I love it when the Holy Spirit speaks to us so simple and yet so dear.
