Look what I had fun making today....Mrs. Darling's strawberry freezer jam. Mmmmm good and so easy to make. I've just had a very wonderful day. After doing some household chores....I drove over to town and went to the library to get the 3rd book in my Francine Rivers series plus the new Susan Wittig Albert book...'the Tale of Holly How'..cottage tales of Beatrix Potter. I also shopped for my hubby a very special card etc and found just the thing! Then I went to Walmart for the SureJell and came home and made the jam. After I got finished with that, I sat at the table reading 'Invisible' by L. McCourtney, savoring my iced hazelnut coffee and crying because Ivy's friend Thea passed on in her sleep. Yes, crying and wiping my eyes. such a good book so far.....=). Empathy, thats what life's all about, right? Even for book characters. Then my husband came home from work with a gorgeous !! floral arrangement which I love! We exchanged our cards...etc....and went out for a special supper. A wonderful day...and on the way home tonight we saw several great firework displays..just a few, people getting ready to celebrate the 4th of July. Thanks for your loving and happy wishs for a Happy Anniversary....and thats just what we had!

Hello Miss Maggie, *VBS*, happy anniversary plus one! So wonderful that you have weathered the storms for 39 years.
I know I have been as missing as a milk carton child, but I think of you often and fondly. Must try and get those River's books. I haven't been doing much reading mostly due to eye situation.
Life rolls along, things come and go and I am constantly amazed at the way time passes. I've let go of soooo much structure in my day to day life. Not sure if it's a good thing, but then, not sure if it's a bad thing either. For the most part, I can say I am happy..*VBS* Leaving you big hugs, Finn

Just wanted to say that I've read both of those Beatrix Potter stories. Loved 'em!

Will have to look for the other book you mentioned. Thanks for the title.
