It is too late and I am too tired to do much posting, but I am always blessed by your visits! Its been really busy here. I've had a lot more energy than usual and am enjoying each day. I've been doing some crafting with beads...but of course after buying new ones at Walmart....=). My hubby has been so busy installing a new row of food pantry closets at the foot of the cellar steps, plus....he has an abcessed tooth that put him in a bad way yesterday. He's on antibotics and has to wait a week to see how it goes. I've been consoling to him, I hope! and cheering him on with the cubboard installations. Later this afternoon I made cream puffs and the Brocoli Salad. Here's the recipe if you'd like to try it. Its very good....really =).
Brocoli Salad.... 1 bunch of brocoli, cut up
1 head of cauliflower, cut up in small chunks
1 small red onion, sliced thin
1 pound bacon, fried and crumbled
1 1/2 cups mayonaise
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup vinegar...white.
Mix mayo and sugar & vinegar together and stir into the above ingredients. Also add chopped or sliced hard boiled eggs. Optional enjoyment...grin....add raisins & dry roasted peanuts!
I have been so blessed with reading material lately...God blessings! Hope you have to. Just when I'm busy as can be, I stop to rest and pick up a devotional or a childrens book and the Lord shows me something special. 'Praise God from whom all blessings flow...all creatures here below'.

Is that a photo of your nightstand? Very relaxing little scene. Sweet dreams
I've made a similar salad, and it was yummy! Seems there's one that has lemon jello powder and raisins in it.
