Thank you everyone for your support ! Its late and I just thought I'd update quickly. Unfortunately I can't seem to access my own blog unless I go through Yahoo which seems crazy. Hopefully tomorrow it will be back to normal. These gorgeous nasturtions are something special my hubby bought me at the 'jockey lot' in SC. All this beauty for $2.00...same as my bunny teapot. There's something about the vivid orangey/red color that just gives me a thrill to see. I'm sounding a bit like Anne of Green Gables here...can't help it = ). Hope you've all had a good day, I'm enjoying our new 'sunroom' so much! The lighting is marvellous, I can see to do the most intricate needlework. What a big blessing. Our daughter gave us an oak table and 2 matching chairs to bring back for this room. Years ago we refinished this set for her to start housekeeping with so its special...smile. Anyway its perfect in the new room and will be great for puzzles to. I already have my sewing machine set up on it and am looking forward to doing some sewing. Well, away I go. My cello is still out and needs put to bed. Blessings to you and my thanks to everyone who left me a comment. Its too late for me to come visiting tonight, but tomorrow will be another gift of hours, Lord willing.

Isaiah 42:8 "I am the LORD; that is my name; and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images."

What a gorgeous and cheerful flower, Maggie Ann! I'm glad to know you're enjoying your new room so much :)

I am from a Catholic background - well I don't have much of a choice if I want to attend a service every Sunday! (99% of the Christian churches in France are Catholic) but I do agree with you (and with the Scripture you wrote today)... I am bothered by the statues of saints in the churches, they seem... superstitious. They don't spur any emotion in me and I couldn't bring myself to pray in front of them - it would feel indecent.

I have no idea of what site you are talking about, so I cannot really respond. And I agree with what you wrote in your previous article. But I do not think that Catholics who pray to saints so much pray saints as ask them to pray for them to God - to intercede for them. That is how I feel it anyway. But then I've never been praying to saints! Must come from my not being brought up in the church, since I asked for Baptism at 16 and my family is not religious!
Put simply, it was God who called me to Him, and to God I pray.

Have a blessed day!

we have a sun rooom but its only usable in the spring and fall. It's too cold out there in the winter and suffocatingly hot in the summer! :)

Have fun with yours.

You have the most interesting photos.

Speaking of sewing...I just finished a skirt and a matching purse for my daughter. Now let's see if she uses them. Hahaha!
